The coach that I watched since I was 4 years old passed away this morning from complications of lung cancer. He was 85 years old.
This isn't about the controversy that has surrounded the final months of his life. This is about his legacy and his actions as a leader, teacher, and coach. He shaped the lives of 100s of young men and made them the husbands, fathers, and leaders that they are today.
To me and my family, he is a man of honor, dignity, and compassion. He is an example on how to live your life.
Our thoughts go out to the Paterno family.
Rest in Peace Jopa. WE ARE PENN STATE!!!!!!!!!
